During Adobe MAX, the world’s largest creativity conference, Adobe announced a new global initiative that expands the Adobe Digital Academy’s focus to equip next-generation learners and teachers with AI literacy, content creation and digital marketing skills to thrive in the modern workforce.
DECA is one of seven partner organizations around the world selected to participate in the new global initiative. Through the partnership with Adobe, DECA members will learn creative and AI skills that will help them get ahead, and stay ahead, in today's job market. Adobe's new initiative helps DECA members build a competitive resume and learn the skills they need.
“DECA is thrilled to partner with Adobe in this endeavor to promote digital marketing skills and AI literacy,” said Frank Peterson, CAE, Executive Director, DECA Inc. “This is a tremendous opportunity for DECA to collaborate with an industry-leading creative brand in developing the next-gen workforce. This initiative will provide cutting-edge resources to help our student members build the creativity skills they need to be successful in their future careers.”
DECA and Adobe have already collaborated to train hundreds of educators to use Adobe Express. In turn, DECA advisors will use Adobe Express with their students in the classroom through DECA’s competitive events and student learning challenges.
Adobe will offer accessible pathways for the next generation to harness generative AI to enhance their creative expression and digital skills, supported by Adobe Express, the quick and easy create-anything app.
“Adobe’s mission has always been to design products that create opportunities and empower people, from all backgrounds, to change the world. We want AI to bridge the digital divide not further it. AI literacy, content and marketing skills are critical for the future workforce and will open new doors for the next generation of emerging professionals,” said Stacy Martinet, Vice President, Marketing Strategy and Communications, Adobe.
