Collegiate DECA members attending the 2025 Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference are invited to participate in the Sales Challenge, sponsored by Enterprise Rentals.
The top three Collegiate DECA members will receive:
- 1st place - $2,000
- 2nd place - $1,000
- 3rd place - $500
Here is how it works:
- This is an individual event for Collegiate DECA members.
- Read the case study and develop your sales presentation. Your presentation can be no more than 12 minutes. Be sure to review the evaluation form so you know the criteria your presentation will be rated by. You may begin preparing now.
- Sign up for an appointment time on-site during the Sales Challenge Orientation + Sign Up on Sunday, April 6. Check the conference app for the exact time and location.
- On Monday, April 7 afternoon, you’ll meet with your judge at your scheduled appointment time.
- The top performers from the preliminaries on Monday, April 7, will compete in finals on Tuesday, April 8.
- The top overall finalists will be announced at the Grand Awards Session, which begins at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8.
Collegiate DECA members who entered an official competitive event may also compete in the Sales Challenge. Please note: Competitive event time schedules will NOT be scheduled around the Sales Challenge preliminary competition. However, for students who make finals in both a challenge and a competitive event, consideration will be given to appointment times for both the competitive event finals and the sales challenge finals.
