DECA Inc. is excited to announce the top teams in the 2021-2022 Intuit Social Innovation Challenge!
This year, Intuit challenged students to “Lead with a Cause” by designing an innovative solution to make entrepreneurship and business ownership accessible for all. Congratulations to the following Intuit Social Innovation Challenge winning DECA teams:
1st Place
Early Entrepreneurs - Sofia Broughman, Sophia Bustos & Florine Tutelman

Algonquin Regional High School, MA
All challenge participants will receive a Design for Delight “Challenger” digital badge and a free voucher for the Intuit "Design for Delight" certification ($100 value). The top three teams will be recognized on stage during DECA’s International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
The team of Sofia Broughman, Sophia Bustos and Florine Tutelman will advance to compete in a Championship Round against the top performers from other organizations. Each student will receive a $1,000 educational grant, $5,000 in funding to continue their design solution and mentorship by Intuit experts. The team has eight weeks to improve and scale their solution before a grand winner is announced on March 25, 2022. Learn more about their experience.
