DECA's 2022 Certified School-based Enterprises

Feb 1, 2022

Congratulations to the DECA School-based Enterprises (SBEs) that earned a 2022 Chapter Certification!

For the certification process, SBE student leaders completed a written project to demonstrate how their SBE met the National Curriculum Standards and showcased how their retail or food service operations school-based business adheres to select model business standards. SBEs have faced numerous challenges to remain open and run business operations while navigating health and safety guidelines.

Recognition is provided for outstanding achievement at three levels: bronze, silver and gold. SBEs earning Gold-level Certification or Gold Re-certification are eligible to bring 1-3 members to participate in the exclusive SBE Academy and competition at this year’s International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, GA.

  • 450 SBEs earned Gold-level Certification or Re-certification
  • 6 SBEs earned Silver-level Certification
