DECA's 2024 Advocacy Campaign Winners Announced

Mar 12, 2024

February was Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, and many chapters worked hard to advocate for DECA in their communities and to their policymakers by completing the 2024 DECA Advocacy Campaign.

This year brought a wave of inspiration as members advocated on behalf of career and technical education, wrote powerful letters to their policymakers at various levels and organized their schools in support of DECA and CTE activities.

Whether you attended school board meetings, helped with marketing to local businesses, posted flyers or contacted your local representatives, your DECA voices were heard loud and clear this year!

The collective efforts of DECA members to advocate for career and technical education were notably impactful, ensuring that the message about the significance of our organization was communicated effectively to a broad audience. Thank you to all those who contributed their stories of advocacy and joined in the celebration of CTE Month with DECA in February.

Congratulations to this year’s Advocacy Campaign recipients! Their dedication and initiatives have showcased the vital role of career and technical education and DECA.
