It’s never too early to start advocating for Career and Technical Education (CTE). With CTE Month around the corner, you can maximize your impact using these resources.
1. ACTE (Association for Career Technical Education)
ACTE is an organization that provides countless tools and resources for CTE advocacy. Specifically, ACTE’s CTE Month Toolkit includes resources such as press release examples, social media graphics, and guides for event planning. ACTE also provides success stories to share the impact of CTE.

2. Advance CTE
Advance CTE has many location-specific resources to help support you in your advocacy efforts from anywhere. With fact sheets, statistics, and policy updates, Advance CTE is a great place to educate yourself and others about the importance of CTE.

3. DECA Chapter Campaigns
During the month of February, your chapter can participate in the DECA Inc. Advocacy Campaign. In this campaign, members must connect with and raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and raise awareness for CTE. Be sure to complete this campaign by the deadline of March 3rd, 2025.

4. DECA Members
As a DECA member, you are the best resource for advocating for CTE and DECA. Share your DECA stories with policymakers and school administrators to demonstrate the benefits of Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs).
